We are so excited that Ms. McCloskey's education students at Vassar have agreed to be our blogging buddies! We are looking forward to reading their comments on our blogs. Chinese New Year
Today we celebrated the start of Chinese New Year. We made New Year banners, dragon puppets and learned how to write the Chinese character for the year we were born. We also took a "virtual" field trip on the internet to see some interesting sights in China. We saw the Forbidden City, The Summer Palace and the Terra Cotta Warriors. We also saw some of the new buildings that are being built for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Here is one of the places we looked at to learn more about China.
