What We Have Been Doing...
We have introduced all of the phonics sounds that the children will be taught this year. For the rest of the year we will be reviewing and practicing these sounds. The good news is that we only have a few more decodable books to send home for you to practice!
We read a story called, “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” While reading this story we worked on the comprehension skills of predicting and cause and effect.
We are continuing to review coins and practice adding up groups of coins.

On Friday we celebrated Dr. Suess’ birthday. Ask your children what they did!
